The brief
Following the strong brand presence created by our stands for First Drinks Brands at previous Taste of London shows, we were asked to build on this success whilst taking the glorious British weather into account within our design. (The annual foodie festival has a slight reputation for mud!)
Our solution
The basic festival exhibitor’s ‘star’ tents restrict the capacity of the stand during typical British downpours, so this year we sought special permission from the organisers and built our own open-sided canopy to welcome as many guests as possible when the heavens inevitably opened.
As the only stand of it’s kind we naturally attracted a lot of visitors, who were then treated to a delicious variety of branded cocktails made by our own team of highly experienced bar-tenders. From a fruity Hendrick’s Gin punch, to a French Mojito with Remy Martin (and maybe a sip of a Tia Maria Espresso Martini to wake you up) the diverse menu showcased the very best of First Drinks spirit brands.
Within the stand we built a fully functioning bar, complete with our artistic take on a classic chateaux interior and inviting floral displays on the exterior decking.
Built from the ground up, every element was considered and optimised to take advantage of the location and showcase each and every brand’s identity. Masterclasses were held hourly in the VIP area, sampling various ages of Glenfiddich or absorbing the laid-back Barbudian attitude with Mount Gay Rum – there was something for everyone!
The Effective Event Solutions team was on-site for throughout the event, from the first piece of decking we laid, to the last bottle of Sailor Jerry’s Rum we packed away and returned to their depot.
